As troubling as the news was, I was instantly thinking of your great smile & positive spirit & having no doubt that you would be up to the challenge.
It's so great to hear about your brother being a match! It will obviously be a team effort - Dr.s, family, friends, etc.

i hope you are keeping well. thought i saw you riding the quad chair w/ emile on sunny sunday, but it was some other cool looking papa. should have been you and will be soon enough! there seems to be extra powder in the secret spots at kicking horse in your absence, i'll make sure i blow some of that cold smoke for you.
emile is great and we see her all the time now that it's spring on selkirk drive, we had beers in the road tonight for the first time this year, we miss you here man.
we are glad to hear things are moving quickly for you and you are getting taken good care of.

Aloha Bruce! Hope you are doing well (as can be expected). I am coming into Calgary from Maui and then straight off to Banff to participate and lend my support. I have managed to round up a couple of ex-Banffites to also come. I hope to see you in Banff at your benefit event, but highly doubt you'll be there as I am sure you have more important issues to deal with :)
