ReplyDeletePeanut Butter, jam and bananas. That will fatten you up like a turkey for Thanks Giving dinner. I did me when I lived in Japan. Gained 10 lbs eating P&J for breakfast every day there. No raw egg and rice for me!

Hi Bruce,
ReplyDeleteWe've been thinking about you a lot over here on the other side of the fence. Spring days are here and I keep expecting you to be passing Emily over! I would like to believe that there really is some magic in helping a person to heal with good thoughts and warm wishes. So Randy and I will do our best to make sure you stay strong, you heal, and you respond well to chemo by sending you our warmth and strength and courage everyday.
Be brave, be courageous, Bruce (I know that's a tall order but try). We miss you over here and we want you back home.
Love Cat, Randy & the girls.
Heh Bruce, I promised the boys the other night that we would never tell anyone but I thought you could use a laugh at our expense. We skinned up the hill the other night intending to go over to Rudy's on the full moon, but ended up skiing icy groomers (shhh... and a bit of cat track) all the way home. Atleast we had a torch lit most of the time to guide the way. Thinking of you on all of our adventures. Cheers, Randy
ReplyDeleteHey Bruce, MF asked me to keep an eye on the hottub. But I didn't ask what I was supposed to be looking for. Any ideas?

Never mind, spoke to MF in Montreal. Sitting in your tub, thinking of you, keeping fingers dry.
ReplyDeleteHeard your news, been thinking of you a lot the last couple of days. Looking back on the video from my 50th and there were some really "sweet" pictures of you. All I can remember are some really blurry visions of us in Hawaii! Thinking of you since I got your news. Hope you are having regular visiting hours, i may have to make an appearance!

Spring is really making contributions here in Sweden right now. Today I was trying the salmons in the Oyster see today but they all survived me...
ReplyDeleteI´m practicing for the 300 km bicycle run "Vattern Runt" right now trying to do 100 km each week.
As good old 59érs I´m convinced that you will make success in your struggle and I will do my best to manage the 300 km bicycle run, I´ll do it for you and your family !

Hi Bruce
ReplyDeleteAnna and Jon here from the Okanagan. Just heard the news. Sending many postitive, heart-felt good vibes your way! I have many fond memories of celebrating Beth's birthdays at your place in Golden and your wonderful spirit and welcoming smile were a big part of that! Big hugs to you all. Anna
Hi Bruce , all the good vibes being sent your way are easy to feel. And you had 'em coming anyway because of all the ones you've sent out.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you out here on the rock and with you everyday.
You need some Poi to really pack on da pounds cuz, like one Tongan bradddah!
It only lasts a day or two though, maybe I'll send some taro and one of the nurses can pound the Poi for you . However Taro chips might do as a start. In fact a little Hawaiian comfort food is on the way.
The energy is in the air and in you, thanks for the love you've always sent and shared. Can't wait to see you and your girls once you're back in form.
All of the very best, holding nothing back
R
