Caregivers help for Bruce

Bruce's blood counts have been going up consistently. White blood cells and platelets have been showing some positve counts. Hemoglobin counts are dragging a bit, but does not seem to raise concern at this time.

With these good results, comes Bruce's discharge from the hospital. Bruce is scheduled to move in a 2 bedrm appartment located across from the Foothills hospital.

The supervision required is minimal. We need to make sure that he takes his medication, eat, walk and sleeps. It is mainly a precaution, should he faint, get sick or fall and hurts himself. He will be going to the hospital 3-4 days a week to get fluids, blood drawn and for the doctors to examine his progress.

For the first month i am looking for some help with overnights as well. He can not be left alone. i will be staying with him consistently 3 days per week.

So if you are going to Calgary and need a place to crash, why not combine it with a "Bruce visit"!
If you think you can help in any way, please contact me at aubergebnb@telus.net. or call at (w)250-439-5495 or (h)250-3443997.

I will also be hiring a caregiver, and I will put a schedule together. Hopefully we get this next task under control and get Bruce back in Golden by September! Thanks M.F.

  3. Hi, Bruce, glad things are going well. I may drop in to help, but want to make sure I do not have a cold first, (after that trip to the Mexican hog farm). And I see that you now have a hairdo like mine, and did yo uhear, you missed a good party at Wild Bills.
    Take care

  4. Epic news for the Lessor's!

I'm sure that if we could afford to, the Ennis clan would love to help with the caregiving schedule!

Would bring back memories of 48 Ridge Road and having dinners and BBQ's together!

    Take care Lessor family!

  5. stop bragging about your blood, you will only attract vampires to our neighborhood...
