  1. Oh YES - Another day ripping @ the Lake - I was a lifty on the BIG O & Summit back in the late 70's & early 80's when I first met BRUCE & The rest of you BANFFITES! I will cherish those memories until its my turn to SKI Heavens endless Powder Fields with Bruce, Bitchin' & the Other Powder Hounds that await the rest of us still fortunate folks that remain grounded down here!
Wish I could join you all for the Festive Day, but previous engagements prevent this from happening! SO - IF YER GONNA DO IT - DO IT RIGHT & DO IT IN YOUR TRADITIONAL BANFFIAN STYLE!
I hope I could only be this fortunate to have such AWESOME Friends to carry out such an Honorable Feat!
WHITEHORN 1 is still the BEST RUN IN the WEST!
Do a Turn or 3 for me! Please & Thanks!
ROCK ON, SKI ON & PARTY ON!

  2. On raising a family, making money, creating a contented life and general goals.

Mountains should be climbed with as little effort as possible,
The reality of one's nature should determine the speed,
If you become winded slow down,
If you become restless speed up,
You climb the mountain in an equilibrium
    between restlessness and exhaustion.
Then when you are no longer thinking ahead,
each footstep isn't just a means to an end but a unique event in itself.
    This leaf has jagged edges,
    This rock looks loose,
From here the snow is less visible even though closer.
These are the things you should notice anyway,
It's the sides of the mountains which sustain life.
    And not the top.
